Every once in a while I happen upon a game that intrigues me for its ability to meld entertainment with crazy creativity with great art. One of these was Contre Jour (http://somanyinterestingthings.blogspot.com/2014/03/seize-jour.html). Today, I chanced upon a new one, called Monument Valley. It's kind of Edge meets MC Escher. No race cars or mean people. No one dies, no one's head gets chopped off. In fact, there's no blood or gore at all. Just a clever game in which you have to figure out how to manipulate the environment to get a little girl named Ida (who, in my case, is being very patient) from point A to point B (website with video): http://www.monumentvalleygame.com/
