Check Out Those Guns

The Christian Science Monitor has an excellent interactive graphic comparing gun ownership, homicide, and other related rates around the world. Many Americans will be proud to know that we are, by a long shot, Number 1 in ownership, with 88,800 guns per 100,000 people. The good/better news is that, with all that weaponry around, we're only Number 9 in gun deaths per 100,000 people ~ behind (in this order) Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, Swaziland, Colombia, Brazil, Panama, and Mexico.
