Author Timothy Egan discusses his new book, Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher: The Epic Life and Immortal Photographs of Edward Curtis. In the early 1900s, Curtis began to photograph, record, and film Native Americans and their disappearing lifestyle. His quest, supported by President Theodore Roosevelt and funded by J.P.
