As in almost every field, from politics to entertainment (granted, not such a big leap), it's the people behind the players that make it all possible. When an NFL team travels, it brings thousands of pounds of equipment with it. That, and the travel arrangements, including police escorts and special meals and seating, have the operations crew working at top speed.
