And Then There Was Math

Here's an intriguing conundrum (credit where it's due ~ thank you, Anthony!): Did humans invent math, or was it there all along? Or ~ is the truth of the matter somewhere in between? Take Leonardo Fibonacci's famous number sequence, for example. The man was checking out rabbits and how fast they breed (this was in 1202) when he came up with 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc. But it turns out that this sequence can be found in the Nautilus shell, in sunflowers and many other flowers, in pine cones, and in lots of other places in nature.
