As RoboCup 2014, ostensibly the world's biggest robot event, comes to a close with Australia's victory over Germany (story, video:

Personally, I'm waiting for the day when we have robots in the stands watching robots on the field and we humans can just enjoy a relaxing day at the beach (or wherever) and not have to deal with the stadium parking and traffic:
