Hard to believe, but Madeline ~ that saucy little redhead who was not afraid of mice and who loved winter, snow, and ice ~ turns 75 this year. To mark the occasion, the New York Historical Society is holding an exhibit called Madeline in New York, because, you might as well know, that is actually where she was born.
