The Streets to Nowhere

It's L.A.'s own ghost town, complete with curbs, streets laid out in a typical grid, driveways and even steps leading up to empty foundations. That's all that's left of what was once a very desirable neighborhood ~ until it was taken over by LAX. Since then, it's been a concrete wasteland chilled by ocean winds, baked in the sun, and rattled by the huge jets that pass overhead.
