Who doesn't doodle? Two of my personal favorites have always been the mussel shell and the clam shell. Because I can't draw that well but a page of them looks pretty good. And I find that drawing these shapes is somehow comforting: just enough repetition, but with a little room for creativity. Spirals are equally satisfying ~ and maybe even more so, as they're so mathematical in essence (
