It's a Bird! It's a Plane! ... It's the QE2!!

At 1:59 p.m. PDT on May 31, an asteroid nine times larger than the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2 will speed past us at a safe yet comparatively short distance (the closest it will be for another 200 years or more).
