To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act in 2014, a group of agencies, nonprofits, and others are sponsoring several events, including a photography contest. Entries are being accepted through Sept. 3. Winning photos and some of the Highly Honored pictures will be on exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History.
