Dr. Cole Galloway is a physical therapy professor at the University of Delaware who also happens to design "rehab technology for the real world": harnesses that hang from the ceiling and allow people who have difficulty standing to do so while working traditional jobs ~ or cool, specially modified little cars that allow special-needs children to be more mobile. His whole goal, he says, is to make these things simple and inexpensive enough that they can go straight from his workshop into the wider world as quickly as possible. "We see no reason to wait for years of research to tell you that [with
