Well, that was the first one I got right in this quiz on philosophers' quotes, and it's only because of that famous graffito "'God is dead.' ~ Nietzsche; 'Nietzsche is dead.' ~ God" So, moving on ... how about "Genuine ignorance is more profitable because it is likely to be accompanied by humility, curiosity, and open-mindedness; whereas ability to repeat catch-phrases, cant terms, familiar propositions, gives the conceit of learning and coats the mind with a varnish waterproof to new ideas"?
