Apparently, Blue Monday, the first Monday after the holidays, which this year falls on Jan. 6, is the most depressing day of the year (

Therefore, as a public service, I am posting this link to a serene, beautiful video of a year in the life of a forest. It was made by a filmmaker who blended together 40,000 photographs he took from his front window over a 15-month period:
