Of Pigs, Plastics, and Progeny

In my travels around the country (most recently, the East Coast and the Midwest), I have been both disappointed and surprised by how many restaurants and hotels and the individuals working in them don't seem to either know or care about the health and environmental dangers of styrofoam. Yet another widely used material is now being found to be a probable danger to our health. In Spain, a definitive link has been found between infertility in pigs and chemical compounds in a plastic to which they are exposed ~ compounds that are in many materials that we use every day (story, link to interactive graphic on health dangers in the home): http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/06/140605-pigs-plastic-sperm-endocrine-disruptor-infertility-science/
