Burning Curiosity

Together with Stony Brook University in New York, actor Alan Alda has created a contest in which 11-year-olds judge which is the best definition of certain phenomena among those suggested by scientists and others. There are two parts to the contest. The first is for those who want to answer the current question, which is, What is a flame?
