Homework on Hold

Off and on over the years, there has been talk about whether homework helps or hinders children on their journey through our education system. Despite this, most children's homework to-do pile continues to grow. Apparently, that trend isn't ours alone. Although France has officially banned homework in the elementary grades since the 1950s, some teachers ignore that rule.
